Have to consider I was up until midnight too. I've laid down the law (I think *\;-); I simply cannot stay up that late. I pay for it the next day -- though staying up that late includes overseas travel, there it gets bundled into jet-lag issues.

Lessee... about midnight here the lay I leave for Strasbourg, I'll be making my way from CDG airport north of Paris to ORL (ORY?) south of Paris. I am going to be so trashed when I make it to the hotel 9 to 10 hours after that.

The house is very nice - six bedrooms, and I found the vacuum and some Lysol! Trash day is Thursday.

Tomorrow we’ll go to church in Mooresville, over toward the interstate, and then the kids can get in the lake. So can the dog.

Frank’s gone to bed, and I’m on my way there very shortly. I’m afraid I won’t be able to post kittehs from here; i don’t know how to work this laptop very well.

We brought sunscreen and insect repellent! I got three mosquito bites in the house this evening; I put hydrogen peroxide on them, found it under the bathroom sink.

We’ll have to give the dog a good wash when we get home. The people renting the next house over have a dog, too; Ash wants to be friends.

We’ve got the computer, but the battery was giving out last night. It’s Anoreth’s old one, and it draws a lot of power. It’s plugged in now.

Kids are out in the lake; Bill and Tom are kayaking, others are just splashing. I’ll take Frank out to sit on the dock later when it’s not in full sun. The kayaks don’t have skirts, but I have a pair of capris from The Salvation Army, and my Free Republic t-shirt with my name on it.

We went to Mass at 9:00 this morning. Nice church, small compared to ours, but they have a building fund on, of course. A nice man obviously from India asked me to join the choir, and was disappointed that we’re from out of town! I was a little sad thinking that this is probably the first Sunday in five years that Anoreth didn’t go to Mass ... but I consoled myself with the possibility that they put in at Kodiak Island, where there’s bound to be a priest. Since I don’t know anything about their cruise, I don’t know they didn’t!
