And the bride wore white - long, curly white strands of wool.
Louise Fairburn, who is an award-winning sheep breeder, decided to get married in a fleece from her own flock.
She designed the gown and took wool from her favourite rare Lincoln Longwool, Olivia.
And she extended the theme to the rest of her big day, putting her groom Ian, 42, in a waistcoat made from wool.
Mrs Fairburn even carried a Bo Peep-style crook and the ring bearer's cushion was made from a fleece....

Yep, I go there; mostly for the animal stories. I got tired of reading about another celebrity showing how naked they can get or how they out dumb one and another. LOLI think England seems to have the corner on decadence. What blows me away about the DailyMail's human interest stories about non-celebrities are that no matter how sordid or embarrassing their guilty tales of adultery or drunken accidents, they all pose for huge, full-body photos in front of their houses or cars or in their living rooms -- absolutely the worst exhibitionism along with the self-abasing behavior. It was so pleasantly fresh to see this pastoral story in the DM.

I didn’t mean to imply that she is pregnant — I really don’t think so. Just riffing on your earlier “didn’t pull the wool over his eyes” comment.

That much glue is going to make the dress quite heavy! LOLI was wondering the same thing about the 1.4 mile train on the Chinese woman's dress in post 86; but after seeing the pix, it doesn't look like she had to haul it behind her. Still, even if tulle, it must have weighed quite a bit. Wonder how they got it to the field?

That’s very original and a LOT better than a lot of what I’ve seen many other women get married in.

Looks hot. Of course England tends to be on the cool side.I checked the article again and it didn't give an actual date for the wedding. I wonder if it has been cool there this summer like it has been here. That algore must have turned down the thermostat.
