Apple releases Mac OS X 10.5.8

Apple has released Mac O X 10.5.8 which is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, as well as specific fixes for:
Compatibility and reliability issues when joining AirPort networks.
An issue that could cause some monitor resolutions to no longer appear in Displays System Preferences.
Issues that may affect Bluetooth reliability.
Mac O X 10.5.8 is available via Software Update and also via standalone installers (Mac OS X Server 10.5.8 Update (274MB), Mac OS X Server 10.5.8 Combo Update (978MB), Mac OS X 10.5.8 Update (274MB), Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update (759MB)).
In addition, Security Update 2009-003 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Mac OS X Server 10.4 Tiger users is also available.

That's nice to hear. 10.5.7 was a bloody disaster for me. I hope they don't break X11 again.

What was the problem? I came back to Apple after having XP for 4 years (5 years Apple before that). Don’t see a lot of difference and a few things which are even clunkier than XP but nothing major.

The default font was changed (I still haven't gotten that fixed) and the keyboard mapping was totally hosed. I couldn't type anything into an xterm until I installed a new X11 server .dmg.
Showstopper for me because I require X11 for work (thank God I don't have to use Stone Knives and Bearskins).
