REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
Sgt. Ryan H. Lane, USMC, KIA 23JUL2009
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Eternal Father, Strong to Save
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

Your opening is a Joy to look at, Billie and the Pledge is darling. Thank you! Thank you, Meg and LadyJ - am glad you like the Opening for August. I thought the squirrel looked so sweet in those pretty flowers.
Your kitty hiding in the petunias is cute as can be!

This is so beautiful and cheery this morning....love it and the sweet poem.....! My son came to mow and I worked on carport a few minutes. Those summertime webs are hard to deal with...LOL! They truly are! Hope Amy is having fun traveling and Billie, I hope you have a lovely day! Thank you, jaycee. Glad you like it.
Are summertime webs any worse than wintertime webs? :)
We've had such nice rains lately the grass in the field is growing so tall it's almost higher than the dogs! Soon it'll be cut and baled for grass hay, but right now it's gorgeous blowing in the wind.
