I recall cool spells in August..not rain..Lord knows we need every drop..The drought is worse south of me...but we are in drought.
I walked out in it when it was only light rain...felt so good.

Don’t know about you but I have more fun watching the cats stalk bugs on the wrong side of the glass than I do when the bug is inside. It lasts longer and I don’t have to worry about them catching the bug.

LJ, I just love your dahlia poem and graphic! Thank you SO much for sharing it with us!
When I lived in TX, I grew dahlias with flowers as big as serving platters. They were so perfect, they looked sureal.
I have tried growing them up here in the High Desert, but no luck. :(
