Even though I have an Alaska background, I have never witnessed a cooler summer in TN. I have been here over 40 years. (minus the military running around) :^)I've been in Tennessee for 33 years come September, and have to agree with you--the weather here in east Tennessee has been almost supernaturally mild for this time of year.
I have friends who moved here from Dallas, where the temps in summer are routinely in the low hundreds, who are daily gaping with astonishment at how pleasant this summer has been.
But then, of course, actual individual experience is no match for Global Warming Dogma.
