With three Oscars and a host of blockbusters to his name, Jack Nicholson is one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
And he certainly proved that was the case away from the screen as well today.
The 72-year-old showed off a sizeable paunch and a rather large cleavage during his annual holiday in Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat in the South of France.
Wearing a large pair of baggy beach shorts the actor was seen wallowing in the waters as he floated around on his back.
He also made an extremely undignified attempt to haul himself back on board a luxury speedboat after his time in the waves around the exclusive resort.
Eventually he managed to heave his substantial frame up from the surf but looked rather cumbersome as he picked his way through a small crowd on deck - which included several young women.

Well, I never found him sexy myself, anyway, but I am pretty tired of this whole obsession we have with everyone staying young and beautiful forever. It just isn’t realistic, and it’s not really healthy, either. Of course, maybe I just think that because I’m a widening 50something woman! ;)

How about Grampa in the picture on the right taking a nap while leaning back on the sweet young thing with the dark hair. She looks happy, don’t she? Ee-yew.
He still gets more primo booty in a year than most of us get in a lifetime.

Not true. I get more "primo booty" in a year than Jack Nicholson. My wife can confirm that. That and the fact if I get any less than "primo" booty my life is in danger.
Let me get this right.
Jack is out playing in the beautiful warm water n the South of France.
He is on a killer cool boat that probably cost more than the author house, it’s contents and cars.
He is out playing with a boat full of young and fun loving gals.
He’s doing this and likely much more..... at the age of 72. I could be wrong, but I think that places him less than 8 years from being 80 years old.
So, at 72, when you are less than 80 years old, overweight or not, where will you be and what do YOU think YOU’LL be doing?
Some folks think they are alive just because their heart is beating.... while folks like jack are out having fun and actually living life.
Coincidentally , just a few hours ago I was watching an old episode of Hawaiian Eye from 1961 and Jack was in it . His acting in this show sucked bigtime , and his voice was whiny . I bet nobody in the cast ever imagined he would become a superstar .

I just saw Five Easy Pieces on TCM...what an incredible actor, one of the best.
