Quaint and kind of charming. Also a little embarrassing (I live in AL).
But this is a perfect illustration of why uptight conservative types are less of a threat to our liberties than liberals are. The UCT’s might get their panties in a knot over a stylized nude, but they won’t raise your taxes or socialize the healthcare system — things that really do infringe your liberty.

I remember the sad day back in the sixties when the Public Morals Squad made them draw a diaphonous scarf over the White Rock Girl’s titties (can I say titties?). Ruined my little ten year old world.

Yes, but after age 1 and before age 18 they are bad for you.

Could be you’re right. On my 8th birthday, I found a Playboy. Now I’m a dirty libertarian. Perhaps the two events are connected.

I'm a Missouri resident who spent just over a year living just outside Montgomery in the mid 80’s. I was stunned that socialism was alive and well at ABC stores...WHICH by the way you had to drive too far to find one!
Now that I'm back in Missouri I have eight places within one mile of me selling my precious Fat Tire Beer, Miller High Life, tequila, vodka, rum (Sailor Jerry's), merlot, cabernet, sangria...

Both wrong. It's White Rock, oldest soft drink company in the U.S.

Click the picture for a better color photo & their Web site.
