I wondered about this exact issue when I saw one of these very expensive looking signs on a project (Biden’s Bridge) here in Central PA. They are really nice signs. Too nice.

Hey. While their doing all this "shovel ready" stuff, does anyone think they might ever finish the southern approach to the Delaware Memorial Bridge? Whatever they're doing has been going on for years now.

I bid on heavy construction jobs, some of them are this “stimulus” crap. I throw in a cost of $4,000 to furnish & install these signs, especially if I hire a DBE contractor (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) to install them.

A $2000 road sign—
No wonder we have $600 toilet seats in the government spending.
With this kind of spending debacle, how can a single member of Congress NOT realize why we don’t trust them with the country pursestrings?????

The signs will cost $2000 each and will be put up by people who already have jobs. Union jobs.
So how is this helping put America back on track again?
I said at the time that we were being had... 7 gazillion dollars, stolen right under our noses.

We have the Gov Stimulus signs here in IL along I-57 near Mt. Vernon. The construction on the highway was started long before the Porkulus Bill. I wondered what the additional construction is supposed to be. My guess, here in the Great Fraud State of Illinois, the State keeps its cash and spends the money from Uncle Sugar.
Nice sign, but if it cost $2,000, I need to get in the sign business.
Waste of money IMHO.
