What's really sad is that Caviezel hasn't been able to get arrested in Hollywood since his title role in "The Passion of the Christ". He's clearly a talented actor, but hasn't been in any movie that
hasn't been direct-to-video since "Christ".
That role, plus his fairly outspoken pro-life stance, has surely cost him work in Hollywood. So much for the standard retort of "Hollywood only cares about money, not politics". This guy was in one of the highest grossing movies of all time, but is apparently persona non grata in Hollywood power circles.
