What's really sad is that Caviezel hasn't been able to get arrested in Hollywood since his title role in "The Passion of the Christ". He's clearly a talented actor, but hasn't been in any movie that hasn't been direct-to-video since "Christ".

That role, plus his fairly outspoken pro-life stance, has surely cost him work in Hollywood. So much for the standard retort of "Hollywood only cares about money, not politics". This guy was in one of the highest grossing movies of all time, but is apparently persona non grata in Hollywood power circles.

He was good in the Dumas classic “The Count of Monte Cristo” too.

Liberalism is a disease of the mind...or at least a psychological way of clinging onto the pettiness that was high school.

Caviezel is talented and extremely handsome.

Wish he would get more roles but Hollywood is clubby and mean.

His filmography since “Passion of the Christ.” I guess “Stroke of Genius” doesn’t really count, since it’s the same year of release. He was really good in that, and I loved in him “Count of Monte Cristo.”

Caviezel’s reward in Heaven, for his role in passion, will far exceed anything that hollywood can offer.

He was also incredible in the best movie of the 1990’s, “The Thin Red Line”.

I believe I also read that he refuses to do nude or overtly sexual scenes because he feels it's disrespectful to his wife.
