Last night we had to put the last of our three Boston Terriers to sleep . She had a long life of 13 and a half years , but of course my wife and I were very deeply saddened , but it was the best and only humane thing to do . Momo was the mother of Toto who died last year at this time , and of Max who passed two years ago . I like to believe that our beloved pets meet us again in heaven , but so many folks argue that animals have no souls so cannot enter heaven . What do you all think ?
The finiest answer I ever heard for this questioncame from Hank Hanegraaf, the radio’s “Bible Answer Man.” To say that Hanegraaf is a Biblical hard-liner would be to undersell his position. Still, he replied to a caller that the Scripture is silent on the topic, but to remain consistent with the loving nature of God and the characterization of Heaven as a place of perfection, praise, and joy, as far as he was concerned, since loved pets are a great source of joy and an expression of truest love, he figured they would be there. Coming from a hard line Calvinist, I was frankly astonished. I also think he’s probably right.
"Who art in heaven"
"Hallowed be they name" amen, no other name above HIS "Thy kingdom come" yes, praise God the son was born to man.
"Thy WILL be done" Yes and here it is: "ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN"
"On earth as it is in heaven" tells me that HE designed earth for man by the design of Heaven, except there it will be more glorious, man just cannot imagine what it is like.
So yes I do believed there are animals there "Where lions will lay down with sheep"
My husband had gone to the store and I thought he'd gotten back and had let Bo in. But when I opened my eyes and set up my Bo wasn't there. Later when my husband did get come back from the store he was a few minutes coming in the house. And when he did come in he had tears in his eyes. He told me he'd just found my Bochephus dead in his kennel.
My Bo hadn't eaten his supper the night before and we were worried why but he done that before. We never dreamed he'd die.
But I no longer doubt if dogs have souls. I believe with all my heart I will see my Bo again.
Bochephus! Jan 2000 To May 9th 2009
We wouldn't be alive if it weren't for Bocephus. He saved our lives. He got us out when our house burned, Oct. 2007. He was my best friend.
Of course they do. Only humans have the choice of choosing evil over good, so I believe all animals are thus good and qualify.
Please excuse all my typos and errors, I was setting here crying my eyes out as I typed.
I believe that Heaven is the place where we get back all that sin took from us. Death is the outcome of sin. So I believe that yes, our pets will be restored to us. If the lion is laying down with the lamb, then Rex is playing fetch with Brucey!
So sorry for your loss.I believe animals will be there when we get there.
Animals can be found in heaven. Rev. 19:11, for example, speaks of Jesus on a white horse. So animals will be in heaven. Will your animals be there? Don’t know. But we cannot say that they won’t.
The thing is, Jesus knows what’s best. If the best is to have your pets join you there, that’ll be the case.
God had Noah place animals on the Ark.
God made trillions of different animals. That tells me that God likes animals.
If God has a place for me, after all my sins, then I know beyond a doubt that He has a place for them.
They give unconditional love. It would not be Heaven without them.
No problem . Thanks for sharing .
I honestly cannot see any reason why God would not allow us to re-unite with our beloved pets and spend eternity together with them . After all the happiness and loyalty they gave their human owners they should be rewarded , too . I believe in Rainbow Bridge .

I spose if you want to nitpick, they can never become accountable, so just like a small child or a mentally retarded person who can’t understand salvation or sin, they get a pass.
Yes.
I guess there’s gonna be alot of insects in heaven then.
Thank you for that story. God blessed us greatly with the company of dogs.
I look forward to reuniting with mine when I get to the other side.
Yes. I think they have a better chance at heaven than we do.
Absolutely yes.
And as I knelt beside the brookGod Bless your babies.
To drink eternal life, I took
A glance across the golden grass,
And saw my dog, old Blackie, fast
As she could come. She leaped the stream
Almostand what a happy gleam
Was in her eye. I knelt to drink
And knew that I was on the brink
Of endless joy. And everywhere
I turned I saw a wonder there.
