Suggest stop steaming live animals, gorging yourselves, and adding even more fat to your waist lines.

Vegetarianism and Conservatism easily co-exist.

How about you eat your veggies and not worry about everyone else.

Your post is prima facie evidence that you take far too much interest in how other people live their lives. That's the opposite of conservative.

To be fair, you would seem to fit right into the Maryland political scene, however.

I love crabbing trips to the coast when it is time to plunge our catch into the huge pot of boiling water. Nothing beats catching and cooking those tasty spiders when camping on the coast.

“stop steaming live animals”

You’re supposed to steam crabs alive! That way you know they’re fresh.

Adding to waistlines? Obviously you’ve never been to a crab feast. Crabmeat is very lean and you expend nearly as much energy taking them apart as is in the caloric content.

BTW, check out various lobster `cruelty’ incidents involving Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

(Hint: crustaceans’ nervous systems are incapable of sensing pain, as in boiling or being chopped up.)

Vegetarianism and conservatism can and does co-exist. You, me and a lot of other freepers are vegetarians or vegans.
However, part of conservatism is recognizing that other people may not share your beliefs and accepting that they don’t share your beliefs (Hear that, Huckabee?). A conservative will also find a gentle way of discourse when trying to show an opposing viewpoint, rather than getting into people’s faces. You’re giving the rest of us veggies a bad name.

BTW, you should try some seaweed flavored seitan and garlic margerine. It tastes a lot like crab and garlic butter.
That’s what I eat whenever I still have a hankering for seafood.
