When they arrived, they found at least four people had been shot. Those victims were taken to the hospital. 20-year-old Keyarre Miller died shortly after. The surviving shooting victims are, Echo Latoya Rice, 21, Troy Raynard Alexander, 29, and Tracy Dewayne Andrews, 24.
Witnesses said there was a large party and several people got into an argument, then the violence turned into gunfire.
Police said they took two people into custody, but have not released their names. Investigators blocked off nearly the entire length of Ervin Avenue as they investigated.
Eyewitness News is working to learn more information.
A block party with more than 150 people at 4AM. Not the sort of scene I want anything to do with.
The entire Charlotte, NC area is fast becoming the Detroit of the South. So glad that I got out of there a couple of years ago.
BTT!
Something odd about those victims’ names. I can’t quite put my finger on it...
are they black?
Must be the damned Irish again!
Bump. (cackle.)
Amish names?
Jason Lewis must have seen the writing on the wall too. ; )
Those dang Amish are at it again.
maybe it was and Mennonites? I think maybe so...
Maybe a over time game of midnight basketball.
Are these the people Obama called "The Lesser Among Us?"
Because now there are less of them in Charlotte than there were.
.
Idiot. Latoya and lashan are Bulgarian names.
In my area where ever the thugs gather there is usually a fight that ends in a shooting....Usually happens at a Waffle House...Dang!...Getting to where you can’t go get some waffles and hashbrowns scattered smothered at 3am anymore..LOL

ML/NJ
Its not like they had to get up the next morning and go to work.
