Got back from Milwaukee yesterday evening. Took my youngest daughter to see the Jonas Brothers concert held there on Thursday night. We had a ball.
I took her to the town of Mequon, just north of Milwaukee, where I grew up. Had a wonderful time showing her my old schools, church, and places that hold great memories.

It is a wonderful time around here, seems like Caleb has started singing all the time (good little voice too, in tune), reckon he is as happy as we are.
Here is a good story on McNair. His mother and father grew up as share croppers just a little north of the coast, lived on the place all their lives. The FIRST thimg he did when it made it to pro football was to buy the farm they lived on for them plus many acres around them. Needless to say he got them a new home too built on the place. I am only sorry it all ended as it did.
We are changing providers, extreamly soon, gettig rid of ths joke ws are on now, like Monday.
To keep it fresh with you, folks. we are in deep ‘stuff’ with BamBam as prez. The rumor got out around our place is that he was going to put meters on water wells to see how much water we used. I look for any day coming soon that we will have to ‘bow’ as he walks by.
I see that D and SIL are up, they open the blinds on the patio doors to let me know ‘you can come over now’. Will talk to ya’ll later.

I remember coming to this thread over ten years ago stating, "I hate this thread," regarding the countdown to the end of the i42 administration. Well, thankfully that came to an end, and America survived.
Now I see 42 months in the countdown, and say to myself, "self, can America survive for 42 months?" I'm less sure about the outcome this time.

We will survive, maybe a bit tattered and torn, but we WILL survive, and probably better for it. Why? Because those who help put this twerp in the whitehouse will have learned a lesson. The lesson? Our representative Republic is a whole lot safer for individuals that a socialist/communist government.
Toby, there is something in the stimulus package about water on farms and ranches. I’ve been told there is something about the epa being able to come on your property to evaluate your water. If it’s not up to snuff, they can claim that water, or some such thing.

We got a peach truck in from Georgia a few days ago. The peaches are just fine!
I sure hope the worm turns on Zero. Who would have thought having Czars in any administration would be considered good? Don't get it at all.
