WASHINGTON — It is Facebook for the fascist set, and the typical online profiles of its members reveal expected tastes.
Favorite book: “Mein Kampf.”
Favorite movie: the Nazi propaganda film “Triumph of the Will.”
Interests: “white women.”
Dislikes: “anyone who opposes the master race.”
But there’s one other thing that dozens of members of newsaxon.org, a white supremacist social networking website, have in common: They proudly identify themselves as active-duty members of the U.S. armed forces.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, the Montgomery, Ala.-based watchdog group that tracks extremist hate groups, has compiled a book containing the online user profiles of at least 40 newsaxon.org users who say they are serving in the military, in apparent violation of Pentagon regulations prohibiting racist extremism in the ranks.
On Friday, the SPLC will present its findings to key members of Congress who chair the House and Senate committees overseeing the armed forces and urge them to pressure the Pentagon to crack down.....

You ought to know that the SPLC is, and always has been, a hack enterprise of Morris Dees - a well known commie pervert. His ‘rightwing’ violence alerts crop up with predictable regularity when ‘R’s are in power or when legislation is being cooked to gore the conservatives. In this case, it looks like Homeland Security is going to need justification for snooping on veterans. Ignoring the overwhelming reality that political violence is leftist in origin, Morris continues to resurrect the KKK (and kook derivatives) as a potent force beyond trailer courts in certain states.

I detest Nazism (a pagan blood-and-soil cult) and fascism (state worship). However, I think ethnic consciousness among military persons of European heritage (I’ll just use the term “white”) is a good thing as long as it is based on ethnic and cultural self-interest and not upon racial hatred or supremacy.
I don’t doubt there are some neonazis in the military but the fact that they found “dozens” out of a military around 2 million strong doesn’t exactly harm the image of the military as much as they would like.
I suspect there are far more gang bangers in the military anyway. None of it is good but they do a pretty decent job of weeding them out. The fact that there doesn’t appear to be a big soldier on soldier murder problem speaks well of the military.
Kinda like the Commie 'RATS who always call talk radio and identify themselves as being "republicans, who voted for Bush, twice, have a son who was killed in Iraq and drive a Honda Prius...doo dah doo dah."
I've heard a lot of people call conservative talk radio claiming that they were or are in the military. Most claim to be liberals who support the DemocRATS. After listening for them for a while, it's easy for any vet to say, "Naw, I don't think so."
I imagine that this "neo-Nazi" site is a front by a bunch of 'RAT dummies trying to smear the people our military.
These loser "watchdogs" need to go after the real enemies of America. Not some phony balony posers trying to pass themselves off as military personnel.

Agreed. And even assuming their sterling research of "online user profiles of at least 40 newsaxon.org users who say they are serving in the military" is accurate - 40 out of ~1.5 million active is what 0.02%?
I'd stand that bad apple ratio up as a goal for any liberal, or democratic party gathering to achieve...
