Emma Watson Redeems Herself After Flashing Her Knickers in Leicester Square
This Is London ^ | 7/9/9

Actress Emma Watson has been working on her status as a style icon, after she was caught out by the weather and flashed her underwear at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

AS IF to redeem herself following her pants-flashing incident in Leicester Square, Emma Watson oozed sophistication as she posed for snaps in the US yesterday.

The actress was red-faced on the red carpet on Tuesday when her vintage gown gaped open to reveal her nude knickers at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Emma was later caught out when her “muggles” almost slipped out of her dress, which was daringly low-cut.

She spoke about the red carpet clanger on the Late Show With David Letterman, telling the host that she’s still learning.

Emma said with her head in her hands: “This was a small wardrobe malfunction that happens.

And in a potential dig at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, who have been snapped without knickers in the past, Emma exclaimed: “At least I'm wearing underwear.

“I'm still learning, I'm still learning!”

As she arrived on the set, the 19-year-old looked every inch the superstar, smiling for photographers in not one, but two chic outfits.

Emma gave her cute polka dot frock an edge by wearing pink and black bowling-style brogues.

The Harry Potter star laughed and waved to the awaiting paparazzi before she was whisked away.

She later emerged in a nude Christopher Kane mini-dress with black piping. Living up to her reputation as a style icon, Emma topped off the look with sky-scraper black and gold platforms.

Perhaps excited about tonight’s premiere in New York, Emma even indulged the photographers with a little twirl before heading back to her hotel.

Somewhere, a bathrobe designer is enjoying a well-deserved hysterical laughing fit.

Honey, you’re supposed to have some pajamas under it, not wear the thing by itself out in public!

That’s a poorly designed frock IMO.

Seems to have a design flaw.

.......That’s a poorly designed frock IMO.......

Form follows function. The function is to attract a picture splashed all over the world and discussed even on Free Republic.

It is a very well designed frock.

The permanent sticking charm seems to have gone awry.
