Enough!
You got two for the price of one if you attended Michael Jackson's spectacular dog-and-pony show yesterday -- a memorial as dignified as a Vegas lounge-lizard act combined with the entertainment value of a carnival freak show.
How soon one forgets, given the opportunity to participate in this mass hysteria. From the accolades, prayers and cries of grief, you'd think you were witnessing the death of a saint, not an accused serial pedophile who hated the skin in which he lived.

LOL
Don’t forget, the funeral is in LA, the city that freed OJ.
Finally, someone just called it as it is.
The Saint of the Freaks!
I think this was more like a "reality funerals" show for the Media... It's not reality anymore... "funeral extravaganza"... entertainment :)
Guess this “journalist” hasn’t noticed that it’s the press she works for that made it a “dog and pony” show. The press does love sensationalism.
I found it rather disrespectful that so many "mourners" wore sunglasses.
It wasn't THAT bright in the auditorium.
More like "The NAMBLA King"
I saw parts of the funeral. I thought that it was done in very good taste, was impressed. The gloves and sunglasses were a sign from those wishing to pay respect to MJ.
:).. now that is a name! :)
I can’t tell you how glad I am that the whole thing is over. They made a bigger deal about him dying of a drug overdose than we have for Presidents and other heroes. I heard there were something like 17 people worldwide who committed sucide over his deaht, what the H*LL is wrong with people? I might feel a tad sad when someone I enjoyed watching dies but YIKES to rant and carry on like I’ve seen over someone you never met is nuts. There seem to be a lot of people who need to get a life of their own!
If that’s the way people want to mourn Michael Jackson, that’s okay with me. Not my taste, but it’s still okay.
