Al Sharpton delivered an emotional defense of Michael Jackson at the memorial services Tuesday. The event, held at the famed Staples Center, featured performances from several music heavyweights. Sharpton, addressing Jackson's children directly, defended what some would deem 'strange' behavior by Michael Jackson in his later years.

There was a whole lot of things strange about Michael Jackson but I was happy for those little kids who loved their dad, no matter how wacky he was.
“those little kids”
MJ called his young houseguests ‘rubbahs’.
These are same folks who worship Lord Obama, Archduke of Kenya.
I was referring to his children, not young houseguests.
So where were all these asshats when this pedophile was getting perp walked into court if he was such a great POS ?
This trash is using this event for personal gain as usual. They faked their friendship when he was charged an now when he’s dumped in a concert of shallow minded losers.
Pathetic reprobates IMO !
Deviancy Dumbed Down...
I refuse to embrace depravity!
He just figured he had to go weird to keep in the headlines or he'd drop off the planet. A fool and his money!!!
Jackson did not like being black: Quincy Jones.
Is there something strange about Sharpton?
Let a black American express conservative views and s/he's denounced as a traitor to blacks. S/he is taunted with Oreo cookies.
I don't get it.

I agree. My concern is, however, that even severely abused kids will express deep and abiding love for their parents. I pray that his children were not exposed to his inappropriate or immoral behavior.
There are no excuses for nutcases like Sharpton having enabled MJ throughout his life, and they are continuing to sugarcoat his memory. How much better it would have been for people to talk about how MJ is an example of what can happen to people who can’t cope with their fame and their childhood demons. The couricization of Jackson will continue as the media breathlessly recounts his greatness.
Further confirmation that Sharpton has no grip on reality.
