"Among other allegations, Ranghelli and Napper said that unembalmed bodies awaiting cremation were left to decompose in unrefrigerated areas of the funeral home and that bodies of military veterans awaiting burial at Arlington National Cemetery were stored for months on racks in the garage.

Sick story to start with but towards the end there was a sentence that stood out.

This is how we are treating our heroes? Makes me sick

Is it just me or is anyone else suffering from “outrage fatigue”. I know I should be more outraged about this than I am, but the daily parade of outrages from the Rats has desensitized me quite a bit.

Oh I agree but I also think that is part of their strategy. Never let a good crisis go unused, or something to that effect.

Ranghelli, who became a father last month when his son, Dimitri, was born and was the sole wage earner for his family.

IF these allegations are true, I agree they are horrendous and should be investigated..... BUT, I'm sorry, when you have a family to feed, sometimes you have to suck it up up and keep your mouth shut. Being a hero don't pay the bills.

“BUT, I’m sorry, when you have a family to feed, sometimes you have to suck it up up and keep your mouth shut. Being a hero don’t pay the bills.”

So letting the bodies of anyone, let alone veterans, sit on a shelf in a unrefrigerated garage for months is ok?

This place should be shut down and the owners jailed. He should be rewarded for not keeping his mouth shut.

Oh you didn’t read the first sentence I typed. No, its not OK. But he should have thought about his family first. Sometimes we do things we don’t like. Sometimes you do whatever it takes to support your family.
I hope surely he got another job in line before he reported them. Thats what I would have done.
