Does he really regret his part in the use of waterboarding or does he really "regret" this? "Indeed that is the damning spiritual indictment Steve wrestles with everyday, “We stopped [Al Qaeda] from blowing-up a city that is selling tickets to see a doped-up pedophile buried in a gold coffin. Everyday I have to live with that fact and I’m ashamed of it.

I’ve known many Stephens in my life many of whom went by the name “Steve”. I think it’s a pretty good chance they were deep cover CIA operatives, too.

Whoa. That's pretty damned far.

The article is obviously satirical. Read it closely.

It is telling about FReerepublic these days that at least 5 of the first 8 posters here believed that this article is non-fictional.

It also happened with my article about the beauty queen.

I’m starting to have doubts about postng here. FR is usually good for a hundred hits or so but the comments seem generated by ppl who didn’t read the article.

My ears hang low with shame.

You shouldn’t be ashamed.

Forgive those who don’t always read...they are used to ‘instant’ info, and having to follow a link is obviously too much for some to handle.

I did read it, and laughed out loud.

Thanks for that.

Not only do they not read the article, they are too dense to understand obvious satire. Sad.
