I am stunned that she just walked away....and if anyone thinks the presidency would be easier than governor of Alaska they are delusional.....I hope she has a wonderful summer with her children and that she finds a role for herself in our future. She is a refreshing change from our typical elite presidential hopeful. I am just not at all convinced she will rise to higher office after this.

We are going to the road party later this evening-my SIL and I made a salad and frijoles borrachos, and I’m going to man the grill, as usual. I really miss my hubby when I go to these neighborhood gatherings-we always had so much fun at them...
if she decided, herself, to do this, without benefit of counsel of an advisor, i’d say odds are she’s done. if this is something that is part of a strategy, devised by a knowledgeable pol, she may still have a shot.

I also asked my anesthesiologist colleague about MJ using Propofol. He thinks it's completely insane. The drug is used to induce general anesthesia, and is so intensely painful when injected it has to be mixed with local anesthetic or given through a central line. When you wake up you don't feel refreshed either.
what would the point be for MJ to be having that injected? i wanted to try to register for a ticket to the funeral so i could sell it for a ton of $.

She quit her job cause it got rough.....she said it was better for Alaska.....well inside that beltway there is a dem/pub gridlock like no other.......she gonna quit if she can’t get things done in DC? is she gonna sit there and hang tough when someone in her administration gets investigated and arrested? Bush did......he hung in there despite the attacks. does she have what it takes? sorry, I gotta wonder.

look, I like Sarah as much as others around here......I am just disappointed.
that is the left’s take on why she quit. we really do not know what her strategy was. of course everyone is wondering, but absolutely NO ONE knows what is going to happen and whether she has a future or not. that was rush’s point. and it IS the dems and conservative elitists that are sticking a fork in her bc they have NEVER wanted her to succeed, they look at this as stroke of good fortune to have her take herself out.

I got that from the film clips of her speech.....I still have not heard it in it’s entirety, but I have heard her say it. that the state was getting nothing done due to lawsuits......well.......how much is different in DC? not a lot.
