A female passenger from Russia had her silicon breasts ruptured as she landed in an airplane in the United States . The 45-year-old woman from Moscow was hospitalized urgently, Life.ru website reports.
The woman, identified only as Irena D., decided to spend her holiday on the beautiful beaches of the transatlantic coast. She boarded a Boeing-767 at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport with a hope that in about 14 hours she will be enjoying the sun of California.

You would have to suppose that the ruptures occurred as the plane gained or achieved altitude, and that her condition deteriorated from there, so that she was in severe distress by the time of the landing.

Breast implants do not expand or contract any more than you do while taking off or landing.
I guess the whole trip was a total bust.

... unless there happens to be some sort of bubbles or dissolved gas in them. I think this has to be the first thing you think of, if you accept the premise that the plane flight caused the implants to rupture.

so she blew out a boob, don’t the airliners carry ‘tit in a can’ emergency stuff like we use for auto tires?
I can only imagine what nonsense policy DHS-TSA will come up with based on this little incident. I guess there are some liquids that can go past the checkpoint after all, but probably not for long?
