It seems like every time I venture into an Apple thread here on FR, it's similar to venturing over into Democratic Underground territory.
Personal attacks abound especially if you start criticizing Apple products or other Apple users for being naive into thinking Apple is everything their clever marketing department represents it to be.
It seems like the Mac ping list alerts the faithful flock to defend Apple to the death and that is when the claws come out and it starts to get ugly.
Discuss please without the nastiness.
Oh, come on, is it really that bad?
I don’t pay any attention to them.
I’m happy with my PC and don’t seem to have all the problems the MAC users claim I have.
The Macbots are vicious. Go check out some of the hapless non-mac users that accidentally stumble into a thread.
I never understood how some people get so emotionally invested in the type of PC they have. I have both Macs and PCs and could go either way and not shed a tear for the other.
Absolutely right! It’s like a cult with some (not all) posters.
And I say that as someone who is considering getting an iPhone3GS after they work out the overheating problem I saw on another thread.
Whose not a Mac user? Name them. Now!
Hey, you started it.
Really, you did.
Look, FRiend, Mac users are among the most defensive group on the planet. Worse than atheists, worse than ACORN, worse even than global warmists!
Are you a fan of the Dilbert comic strip? Do you recall the character “Tina”, the brittle tech writer?
“Tina” is a caricature of the typical Mac aficionado. (And yes, a Mac head could prolly spell “aficionado” correctly.) Harmless, can be fun to “tweak”, but you get what you get when you take the mechanical pencil out of your pocket protector and poke it into that hornet’s nest.
Mind you, Mac users are basically okay; some of my best friends use Macs.
Bingo. And he has actively trolled everyone one of them. Methinks he protests too much.
You should have duked it out with Karl Rove when he said two weeks ago that he is a MAC only user since the 1980s.
You’re just jealous. Stuck with a PC? Do something about it.
The BIG problem with the iPhone isn’t the iPhone itself but AT&T’s lousy service.
I tried to listen to rush on my macpro—streaming live from one of their listed radio stations because the live station was coming in fuzzy. Well, as soon as Rush’s theme song began on the radio, the itunes live stream cut to other programming. Too bad, as Rush seems to be one of THEIR biggest fans.
LMAO
You have trolled every Apple thread today. I haven’t bothered with you posting history, but I am sure that is a story in itself. You are lucky no one hit the abuse on you today.
Want some cheese with your whine? Or are we just going to bust out in tears? Some folks just need to grow a pair. < /sarcasm>
