Hey, Weinie! Glad you like "My" song. :)
But since you like it better, here's Snowbird, just for you:
Snowbird ~ Anne Murray
To: Billie
Billie - do you think she should have picked Kiptyn or Reid instead? I was surprised at how nonchalent Kip acted when she told him she loved someone else. Even in the limo - no real emotion. If he really loved her, he could have at least shed one tiny tear.
I think Ed will probably leave her again - if his work calls. People tend to repeat patterns.

;o) Thank you!
Well if the gal’s pick was wrong...at least y’all had a good party !
I am up in the wee hours watching and feeding those 5 baby raccoons and their mom..I was also trying to get my computer files straight and had a lot of downsizing to do.
My fan rarely comes on but it did this morning and sounds funny..I am going to turn the computer off and let it cool down for awhile.

JC, my family has made green tomato relish for generations. This one got such rave reviews, (read some if you get a chance), that I had to share it with you:

Don’t forget, you can also use PANKO and make fried green tomato sammiches! Yummmmmm

Billie - do you think she should have picked Kiptyn or Reid instead? I was surprised at how nonchalent Kip acted when she told him she loved someone else. Even in the limo - no real emotion. If he really loved her, he could have at least shed one tiny tear. I didn't get that feeling from Kiptyn - I did want her to pick him until Reid came back and I was really hoping that he'd be the one.
Notice every year it gets more dramatic? Every year it's "The Most Dramatic Rose Ceremony Ever"! LOL! Every year the producers add more and more drama! More of the 'rejected' return to try for another chance, etc.
I just NEVER EVER saw anything in Ed, but for some reason she was drawn to him. From the beginning, in all those 30 men, he seemed one of the most forgettable (to me), and each week I was surprised when she gave him a rose.
I think Ed will probably leave her again - if his work calls. People tend to repeat patterns. I don't think it will be one of those lasting relationships. Once the show is over, real life sets in - the gorgeous settings and romantic dates aren't part of the package anymore - gotta pay for all that stuff yourselves now! :)
Gotta get back to today's bluebird pings! :)

Thank you, Aunt Billie. I love Anne Murray...years ago people thought lonestar looked like Anne Murray...I guess Anne got old, too.

Thanks, GeeBee. I'm glad you enjoyed the song, and I like your sweet little bluebird, too. Hope the dentist' visit is short! (wonder if there is anyone who
doesn't hate going to the dentist?)
To: Billie
I was shocked when Reid didn’t get a rose. He was so cute.
Yes, I agree - Ed appeared to be kind of bland (perhaps it was the editing?)
Yes, it gets more and more dramatic every season. And, the ‘players’ seem to be more and more ‘touchy-feely’, too. If I loved a guy, I sure wouldn’t be smoochin’ up with five other guys!
To: yorkie; Diver Dave
LOL! Cute.
To: Diver Dave
Oops! I pinged you to this one because it reminds me of Buddy and your little grandson ‘sharing’ a drink from the hose, and I can’t find it in my files. :)

Yes, I agree - Ed appeared to be kind of bland (perhaps it was the editing?) If so, they sure didn't do him any favors! But you can't edit the clothes - did you see his swimtrunks? No guy wears swimtrunks that outdated!
Sorry, my fashion freakness is coming through.
I've got to quit reading new posts when I "send" my latest comment! LOL

There you go again. (see #2370) :) Beautiful bluebird, Meg, and thank you for the quote from the song, and your compliment on opening. :)

One of the songs Mom sang to me...

The beggar man and his mighty king are only diff'rent in name, For they are treated just the same by fate. Today a smile and tomorrow tears, We're never sure what's in store, So learn your lesson before too late, so
Be like I, hold your head up high, Till you find a bluebird of happiness. You will find greater peace of mind Knowing there's a bluebird of happiness. And when he sings to you, Though you're deep in blue, You will see a ray of light creep through, And so remember this, life is no abyss, Somewhere there's a bluebird of happiness.
Life is sweet, tender and complete When you find the bluebird of happiness. You will find perfect peace of mind When you find the bluebird of happiness. Two hearts that beat as one, 'Neath a new found sun, We are in a world that's just begun, And you must sing his song, as you go along, When you find the bluebird of happiness
