Morning. I agree, we need to Pray that we can walk the walk. I know I do especially when going after corrupt politicians as I do.

I can spot a pick up artist a mile away.

I can't see it.

“Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you ...”

two key words “who ask you”, ...

Jesus did not go around berating, correcting people ...He responded with healing, and forgiveness, and love to “those that asked” Him.

And to those that were followed Him around Matthew .5 IE. Thank you, for the beautiful devotions.

Happy FRYday, Everyone!

FRY BREAD

Fried breads go great with breakfast meals when smothered in your favorite jelly or jam. For snack time, cover the breads with powdered sugar and they taste just like homemade doughnuts. This recipe makes approximately 10 fried breads.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 08 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
Preparation:
In medium bowl, mix together salt, baking powder, and flour.

Mix in oil and water.

Form dough into ball and set on lightly floured board. Pull off approximately ten golfball size bits, shape into balls, and flatten each into a pancake.

Fill a large frying pan with about 3/4 inch of oil. Fry the breads for a few seconds on each side so that they are golden brown.

Set breads on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

When warm, breads can be covered in powdered sugar, like a powdered doughnut, by placing fried bread in a bag filled with a half cup of powdered sugar. Give bag a quick shake to cover the bread with sugar and remove bread.

These fried breads also taste great covered in your favorite jelly or jam.

To freeze, let breads cool and bag them in a freezer bag. Freeze for up to one month

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Arizona, the Navajo Tribe makes fry bread tacos, covering the finished bread with refried beans, ground beef (seasoned with taco flavoring), lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese.
“We must walk the walk.”
________________________________________________________
To be on the path of following in the footsteps of Jesus Chris, t with the desire in our hearts of being like Him, is my idea/understanding of’ walking the walk’.
He is the only one that did not sin. We are sinful from our birth because we were born from human parents. Only Jesus had God as His Father.
Rejoice! in that we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ when we give our lives to Him. Amen.
"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Good Morning Yorkie!
I am giggling at the recipe for Frybread!
Long story made short....
Adopted daughter and grandson are Sioux Indian from ND.
In a school project this year I helped Kobe make frybread.
HAHA... they turned out like little doughballs! LOL...
The class thought they were “ cute” though...
Love your recipe and photo. Maybe I will try again.
Polly
Sounds absolutely wonderful, yorkie! This time you caught me ‘not hungry’...thats the first time. Nikki came to go swimming and I hadn’t fixed breakfast so I told her I was going to make sausage gravy and biscuits. She loves gravy so she and I had a nice breakfast together. That was my breakfast and lunch....
