Pictured: Michael Jackson's father laughing outside family home
An extraordinary image of Michael Jackson's father laughing emerged today.
The picture shows Joe Jackson sharing a joke with Reverend Jesse Jackson, a close friend of the Jacksons, outside the family home in Los Angeles.
The image will do little to dampen growing criticism of the Jackson family and their alleged failure to help the singer as his health deteriorated.
However, the family today demanded an independent post mortem to find out exactly why he died.

Reverend Jesse Jackson said they desperately want answers about his final moments and the doctor who was by his side at the time of his collapse.

If he wants to laugh, he can laugh his behind off. Maybe he doesn't have to payoff the Gloved Ones debts.

Yeah my family tends to be pretty upbeat at funerals. My grandfather loved nasty weather and we all stood huddled around his garvesite in a blizzard laughing that he managed to drag us all out in the nastiest weather of the year.

I lost three close family members over a course of six years.
There were time we cried. Five minutes later we were laughing.
I cannot fault MJ’s family for getting caught laughing.

I would say that Jessie the Extortion Pig, was sharing with the elder Jackson, just who exactly the shakedown targets will be in the wake of MJs death.

My comment will be an observation and not a judgemental criticism. I have noticed in general that black family members often (not always) handle the news of family member death with less outbursts of emotional grief. Does anyone else see this and can someone who is black comment on it!
I find that very interesting!

I have a similar story. When my father in law, who I dearly loved, passed away his funeral was during an awful blizzard. While the funeral was very well attended the graveside service was made by only the hearse and two 4 wheel drive SUV’s owned by the funeral home.
We all were laughing at the graveside because the conditions were so preposterous. I KNOW my father in law was laughing with us.

Maybe they were sharing a little pedophile remembrance of Michaels personality.

First let me say that I think Michael Jackson was a mentally ill creep. Also let me say that Jesse Jackson is a parasite. However I will say that people do often laugh even in the days immediately following a family members death. It doesnt mean they arent grieving.
Agreed and agreed. Laughter is one of God's great gifts in such times.

My diagnosis would be a bit more in depth.
Borderline/Narcissistic personality disorder, with abandonment issues.
The rest is icing on the cake.

This is a hard one to call as we don't know the circumstances of what just happened. When my mother died the four of us kids were at the funeral home to pick out a coffin and the director turned on a video of their coffins to help us pick one. In the video was a very expensive one with a guarantee for life. I started laughing and my brother and sisters asked me what was up. I said, whose life is it guaranteed for , Moms, she is already gone. Or, the life of the coffin itself, in which case we will have to dig it up in several years to check on leaks and deterioration. I got my brother and sisters to cracking up and just then the funeral director entered in shock. I told him what we were laughing about and he started laughing with us. Now if a news camera had been filming us, oh oh, disaster.

DRINK SOME MORE KOOLAID, YOU AINT DONE YET!What, because they don't follow your party line of thinking that EVERYONE must bash Jesse, Joe or Michael all the time, no matter if what they say IS THE TRUTH?
Man you sound just like one of the thousands of half wits over at DU, who feel that nothing less than absolute hatred and vitriol, for someone in the opposing camp, means they obviously don't have a brain, and must not be tolerated.
Obviously there are a number of people on this thread who have laughed during times of grieving, including myself.
By the way, Jesse is a Jackass. Joe is an opportunistic pariah. And Michael was a disturbed freak. Still doesn't change the fact that they can laugh like NORMAL folks during a grieving time.
