and I bet it wasn’t made in GERMANY
Personally, I prefer the regular chopper. I realize I used it much more than I ever used my food processor. Must get another.
Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays. I hope the Shamwow guy decides to stay home during thunderstorms.
He's more admired than you. You sound like the "bitchy, little pussy" to me.
I like the British guy who pitches the turbosnake.
Damn. That’s a harsh judgment after watching two hours of a reality show.
What’s not to admire about a man whose success was made possible by the free market?
I agree. I am not a rube, I've got a great, built-in B.S. detector, and I did not get any thing negative out of the Pitchmen show that this guy got. Billy Mays was a regular Joe.
Yeah, it does. Slap Chop is a copycat! =)
If I were to base my admiration upon people who were made successful by the free market, I would have to admire such heros as Bernie Madoff and Ken Lay.
Sorry, I did not know that you and he had played kissy face.
Rest in Peace, Billy!
No doubt he suffered a bad head injury when that plane he was on blew out the tires landing in Tampa.
Sad story.
The Grim Reaper is coming after the baby Boomers.
While that scalawag Ted Kennedy lives on...and on...and on.
I’m surprised at so many on this board find it funny to make jokes about the dead. Have a little respect.
Billy Mays was not a crook.
He earned his money more honestly than most politicians. Nor were any of his earnings taken from taxpayers. He was not on the public dole in any form, unlike so many government employees, or grant recipients. His money was not based on government restrictions, such as import quotas, or unreasonable regulations that limit competition. Nor did he receive government (taxpayer) bailout funding.
His money was earned honestly in the free market. Kudos Billy Mays.
Gale Storm (”My Little Margie”) died today also.
Bernie Madoff and Ken Lay are NOT exemplars of the free market. They committed fraud, and fraud involves deception, and the evil of deception is that it robs the victims of their FREEDOM. Madoff and Lay were offenders against the free market.
I must assume that you did not watch the Pitchmen show.
You did not see BM chicken out of doing certain scenes because he was afraid. You did not see someone, Anthony Sullivan, a cameraman, or some other person come in as a substitute of BM who nearly peed in his pants. You did not see BM chicken out of these scenes at the last minute after bragging about how he would do them.
You did not see BM whining about Sullivan having more or better lines that he did. You did not see BM crying when the others did not like his ideas. You did not see BM having sissy fits over someone's offhand comments.
BM's success was mostly due to his loud voice. Other people were behind everything else BM did. Often BM fought those other people thus ending up being a success in spite of himself.
Wow. This is messed up.
I really liked his show! He seemed like a pretty cool guy.
Paris Hilton is still alive and so is Bill Mahr and Alec Baldwin...go figure
