So, I have a conservative pal of mine who - over the past few years - has really become a huge fan of Alex Jones. I don't know a ton about this guy other than that he seems to really propagate certain "conspiracy theories" and such.
I tuned into his streaming show today and it just seems like he's really full of a LOT of hate - lots of name-calling, invoking the Lord, Hell and Satan in regards to certain topics. Dunno.. .he seem's a bit "off" to me..
Anyone?
Already been tried and rejected. It's a waste of bandwith. He and his supporters make Ron Paul kooks look rational.
CoastToCoastAM's George Norry supports Alex Jones fully -- or at least he did when George Bush was AJ's primary target.
Mr. Norry questioned him about Ms Malkin. At first Jones kinda of, sort of admitted that he'd gone over the line than began claiming that all those demonstrators were Malkin's goons and the whole thing was her fault. I swear I remember him claiming that he felt threatened by her.
Now that Jones is targeting Obama and not Bush it seems that he no longer is as welcomed -- the frequency of his appearances on CoastToCoastAM has dropped off somewhat.
Your REAL title shpuld read: No Matter the messenger, Does Anyone Really Trust Our Government or It’s Quasi Entities?
Inquiring minds and all that...
Are they influential on the world stage and in the U.S.? Yes.
Are they a "shadow government" secretly pulling all the strings while the POTUS and other elected officials are merely figureheads as Jones insists? No.
He's a crank who uses the legitimate fear of the wealthy and powerful to ply a trade among the weak-minded. Like all successful liars, he bases his lies on a little bit of truth from which he spins paranoia into a small industry.
Should we be wary of organizations of the wealthy and powerful like those listed above? Absolutely. But, we need to be wary of lying crackpots like Jones who attempt to turn a profit on those legitimate concerns as well as foment the kind of mass hysteria you may witness in the You Tube video posted on this thread.
He's a vicious sideshow barker with an appetite for destruction. If you push him hard enough, he'll probably tell you that George Washington was a puppet controlled by evil foreign bankers who sought the destruction of America... before it's birth.
I don’t know as much about Mr. Jones as I would like to, but the fact that he tends to piss off the Establishment has my respect. I know a lot of “conservatives” seem to think he’s nutty for one reason or another, but I myself am a little more willing to listen to what he has to say than most people, I guess. Whether I believe what he says is a different story, however.
Saying that 9/11 Truther Jones is entertaining
is like saying Hitler was enteraining.
First, it isn’t an ‘alliance’ with the 9/11 Truthers, he is the self proclaimed father of the 9/11 Truth movement and is responsible for much of the crap you read and there is very little difference between his statements and Rosie O’Donnel’s statements on the subject.
Next is his associations and promotion of racists and antisemites like David Duke and the late Ted Pike, of whom he hosts some of articles and had on his show.
Next is his continual pushing of conspiracy theories such as FEMA concentration camps, etc, that are more at home in places such as Renese or reruns of the X-Files.
With that said, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The first two reasons alone make him and others like him not welcome here. Our side is about Conservative values, not antisemetic fear mongering.
Thanks for your reply.
That’s not that farting preacher guy on YouTube, is it ?
9/11 truther? DUN! Nutcase.

Inside "talkers" deliver the lecture and set up the tip for more dings, including the "blow-off".
Us folks in the sideshow community are upset at your misguided usage of language. Words mean something sir!
We are professional and the remaining few of us left in America deliver quality entertainment in an educational and mysterious nature.

Did you watch his feature documentary ‘The Obama Deception’?
Alex Jones is an idiotic, certifiable nutcase. And he’s not above threatening women... just ask Michelle Malkin (all you need to do is google both their names).
I've noticed that, too. I really don't like Goorge Snorey.
Correction: He's a vicious gameshow host.
You are forgiven Dr. Thorne. Now step inside and see Zack and Mack, America’s Famous Two-Head Wonder, Alive and on the Inside!
This may not sound Christian but if I would have been there, I would have been duty bound to knock the crap out of Jones. Where were the men while this girl was being hounded and threatened? Why wasn’t Jones charged?
I recently acquired a WiFi radio, which gives me instant access to internet radio. I prefer Rush, but whenever he goes off on some boring topic like golf or cigars or football, I tune into Alex Jones. He has been covering the swine flu vaccine issue, health care “reform” and Climategate exhaustively. His one hour interview with Lord Monckton was superb. Monckton was in fine form, and Jones conducted the interview in a manner that Hannity and Levin could only hope to. In other words, he let him talk, without interruptions, without going off on some egocentric tangent.
I take the good and dismiss the paranoid ranting. No one is right all the time. But Jones is right much of the time.
