I have always loved the Ford Mustang. I thought it was the best car ever made in America. I still think so.
I also think Lee Iacocca is one of the very best business CEO’s this country ever produced. Modern business CEO’s could take a page from Lee’s book.
In college, a friend of mine in the dorm owned a Mustang. Standard shift. Convertible. It even had an FM radio (novel at the time). Cool car.
I drove one once, around 1988. Having been a stick driver all my life, I found the clutch pedal to be like trying to drive a railroad tie into set concrete. Another friend at that time had a Dodge Daytona and the same thing........
I was driving a 1985 Hondal CRX and the clutch was no harder to depress than the break pedal........ The same is true with my now 1995 Honda Del Sol
Proud owner of a 2005 Ford Mustang GT convertible.
It's a beauty!
I watched an episode of the British hit TV Top Gear where they drive and rate cars from around the world. They tested the Mustang and had only a few good things to say about it. In sum though, they said is was a pretty good car...for someone who looks at their sister and thinks...”hmmm...she’s hot!”
