McCain pointed out in this interview that the GOP has pretty much voted no across the board, but they are helpless to stop Obama (remember the two women from Maine and Specter voted FOR the stimulus bill.. McCain voted NO!)... would you rather a democrat replace him and vote with Harry Reid instead of against Harry Reid?
No, I would rather a conservative replace him. And as I said, I KNOW he voted no against it as it stood. He did say though, that he was for a stimulus package. I am absolutely opposed to any stimulus package.
I am against any stimus as well... and I, too would like a someone with more knowledge of conservative ecomomics to replace McCain, there isn’t anyone, however.... heck there isn’t even anyone to run against Harry Reid over in Nevada and he is ripe for plucking... we have not groomed people to run and it is why we are stuck with the type of representation we have right now.
Too true I may fear. I’d really like to run here in El Paso myself, but I’m too conservative to win.
Will it be possible to get the country back to capitalism when these people are done with it? Highly unlikely.
