Oh man...this is funny. The kitten saw something sticking through the door and wanted to play with it. I can’t believe that an adult can’t put something through that hole without putting their hand in there. Plus, I’ve had cats for years and have many scratches. I have some now. Nothing but a little blood.

Laugh at the mail carrier if you wish, but I spent weeks in the hospital with Cat Scratch Fever. The Bartonella henselae bacteria is one nasty bug. My fever stayed so high I suffered from hallucinations and doctors had to surgically remove tumors that began springing up in my lymph nodes.
About 40 percent of all cats carry the Bartonella henselae bug at some point in their lives, but it’s even more prevalent among kittens.
