Dave Cole is a horse’s ass who capitalized on his father’s reputation. Not even funny.

The simple fact is these Obama people are going to be dictating what kinds of cars the American people are allowed to buy. They will also dictate that our tax money will be spent developing their ridiculous ideas. Is there anyone who understands what is going on that is not scared to death by these Stalinists who have taken over our government?

The Obama person interrupted and said (and I am quoting here) "These laws of physics? Who's rules are those, we need to change that."

It really is like "Atlas Shrugged". It's been a while since I read the chapter, so I may have the details wrong, but there is a great scene where a government functionary (Kip Chalmers, if I remember correctly) is in a hurry to go through the Rockies. The electric locomotive is broken and only an old coal locomotive is available. He says "Use that!" They explain to him that the tunnel is too long, and that the coal smoke would suffocate everyone before they exit. He says "Go fast!"

Anyway, the train goes, everyone dies, the train stops in the middle of the tunnel.

Next thing you know, a train from the other side of the Rockies comes through, slams into the stopped train the middle of the tunnel, and destroys the major RR passage through the Rockies.

Opps. Maybe sometimes listening to experts is a good idea.

“There have been many meetings where a 30+ year experience automotive expert has to listen to a newcomer to the industry, someone with zero manufacturing experience, zero auto industry experience, zero business experience, zero finance experience, and zero engineering experience, tell them how to run their business.”

They wouldn’t have to if they knew how to run a business themselves.

“These laws of physics? Who’s rules are those, we need to change that. (Some of the others wrote down the law name so they could look it up) We have the congress and the administration. We can repeal that law, amend it, or use an executive order to get rid of that problem. That’s why we are here, to fix these sort of issues”.

I see nothing wrong with the statement. Considering that governments are able to change the climate to save the world then what is to prevent them from changing other laws of physics. You nay sayers just don’t get it. /s

I can identify with this whether it is intended to be satire or not. While working for one of the largest electric utility companies in America, I was forced to sit in meetings and listen to wet-behind-the-ears consultants from McKinsey tell us how to run our utility company. The only credential that these bozos had was a MBA from some elite university. Our CEO had bought into McKInsey hook line and sinker. He followed their advice and bought electric distribution facilities in London and Australia. In the end he almost drove the company into the ground and ended up getting canned and his wife divorced him and took him to the cleaners. He apparently was forced into exile in his own home because no one wanted to associate with him afterward. Of course, McKinsey got their exorbitant fees and moved onto their next victim.
