TomTom for iPhone
TomTom for iPhone has been a long time coming, but it looks fantastic. Check out these official photos and video to see how itll change the way you drive with your mobile for ever!
TomToms car kit for iPhone lets the phone work in landscape or portrait mode, boosts the volume of the iPhones loudspeaker and even enhances its GPS signal.
Not enough for you? It also charges the iPhone, and offers an audio output. All that on top of slick TomTom software that spurts spoken directions and offers all the usual satnav skills youd expect. Check it out in the video below, and take a peek at the close-up photos too!

Personally I won’t buy ANY TOMTOM product because their adverts portray men as stupid dolts.
It’s a choice I can make.
I’ve got Garmin on my BlackJackII. Software hacked it so I can use the gps receiver without burning data usage. Only problem is it sucks batteries at an exceedingly alarming rate.
A buddy of mine hacked Garmin into his Samsung Blackjack a year ago. What’s the big deal?
Oh yea and I also don’t pay my service provider to be able to use my GPS either.
You can use it in landscape or portrait mode and apparently play songs from your iPhone list as well. Cool stuff.
