All gray squirrels killed at Prince Charles's estate die humanely, a spokesman for the heir to the British throne said Friday.
The prince angered animal rights activists this week when he said gray squirrels, an import from North America, should be regularly culled in Britain to protect forest areas and the native red squirrel. The news that he practices what he preaches at Highgrove in Gloucestershire, his country home and organic farm, added gasoline to the flames, the UK Express reported.
Charles' office refused to release details on how the squirrels meet their fate.
"We don't poison them or anything like that," one spokesman said. "It's all done humanely."
But animal rights groups called for details.
"Squirrels, gray and red, feel pain," said Ross Minett of Advocates for Animals. "The prince has a duty to publish exactly what methods are used to cull gray squirrels on his estate."
Now that's a good one.
I stole it from Johny Carson
My husband has found 3 dead squirrels in our yard last week. Two were young and were side by side the other was an adult and was found a few days later about 50 feet from where the first ones were found. No visible damage to any of them and we have no clue what caused them to die. Maybe Prince Charles is killing squirrels in NC to keep them from hopping a boat to Jolly Old England.
“As you turn slowly to the right, you quickly spot a gray squirrel about ten inches from your head, furiously rubbing his little paws, waiting for a handout.”
You do know that they will bite and that they can carry rabies and plague?
I’ve had my shots.
“Welcome, Courtney Mortimer!”
(If you’re not in California right now, trust me, that’s funny.)
I wish these leftist Communist animal rights terrorists would jump off a cliff.
Fantastic movie

Do you live near Ft Marcy Park?
The prince angered animal rights activists this week when he said gray squirrels, an import from North America, should be regularly culled in Britain to protect forest areas and the native red squirrel. That's a natural consequence of having a do-nothing xenophobe for so-called royalty.
lol no
My husband saw one yesterday eating a mushroom. Can they tell poison mushrooms from not poison mushrooms? We can’t, so my husband now is wondering if they are poisoning themselves.
