Man arrested following threats against Bush By Charlene Hunt November 12, 2001 Raymond Boelens, 26, currently being held in a Los Angeles County jail, has been named as the suspect in the Nov. 1 threat on President Bush's life as well as bomb threats made to local law enforcement agencies. Boelens was taken into custody by the Secret Service Nov. 1, in Palmdale, Calif. The Gila County Sheriff's Office and Payson Police department received a number of collect calls from a male subject beginning at 2:37 am. Nov. 1. The first call warned of a bomb at local business. The next call was at 2:48 a.m., when the caller said the jail would blow up in 12 hours. At 2:55 a.m., he told the dispatcher, "you have five minutes to live." Obviously this guy is a rich nut, like most Republicans and especially all those true big “C” Conservatives. I thought Utah was not a gun-register state....before I go find my tinfoil hat, what gives?
