Here is the candy house. I think our staging was really excellent. The peasant hut was on one side of the light-weight structure and the candy house on the other side. All we had to do was carry it off stage after act 1 and back on with the other side out for the 3rd act. Our painted forests combined with artificial trees made for a realistic feel. I was so proud of the kids. They came in never having acted before, I could see them growing in self-confidence. They all leaned their lines and delivered them like pros.

It seems rain started right after snow stopped and is still going on. Did I tell you our next 10-day forecast is for rain? It’s 60º right now.

I checked your pictures and they all seem to be well within the limits. They are great. I know you and the kids had a fantastic time.

Will you be able to catch Jim when the Caravan goes through WV? He asked me if you were going to DC. When I told him no, he asked how close you were to the caravan route.

Did you get your Father’s Day shopping done? I need to go out tomorrow. I have in mind for my Dad but not hubby yet. Uh oh ;)

I think Dayton, Ohio is the closest the caravan will come to me. It’s 3 hours and the rally is at 10 a.m. I don’t know if I can get there/ I sure wish they would come through WV. I so want to go to D.C., but I had already committed that whole week to Wolfpen Woods for Katie Ulen re-inactment. I even took my vacation that week. I don’t think it would be right for me to go back on my word to do that. It seems like every time something goes on in D.C. I’m already committed for something. I would love to see Jim too.

I finished it today .... it is not too exciting but Marissa and I both finished up this afternoon.

I think our son is giving hubby a new George Foreman BBQ. I asked him to pick it up for me, but he may decide he will give it. If so, I’m just giving him much needed clothes. Marissa is giving him a cube of wine. :)

We will try to take flowers to the cemeteries on Sunday for my Dad and Hubby’s Dad. We were there Memorial Day and will go again for July 4th (my Mom’s birthdate).

Good luck thinking of something for your hubby. Sometimes they are hard to buy for, aren’t they?

I think Jim said they were going thru NorthEastern WV. He didn’t remember the name of the area. They may just be driving through without a rally stop.
