The incident happened near Boley in Okfuskee County.
In the video, you see OHP troopers pushing the paramedic and grabbing his neck.
The fight happened during an emergency call when a patient waiting to be taken to the local hospital was in the back of the ambulance.
Officials say OHP troopers became upset after the paramedic failed to yield while the troopers were rushing to a call of their own.
The troopers claim the paramedic assaulted one of them before the camera started rolling.
The video was shot by the patient's son. He says he continually asked the troopers to stop, so his mom could be taken to the hospital.
"We're like telling this dude. 'Man, my mom is in the back.' My step-dad was like 'man my wife is in the back, can we do this at the hospital,'" said Kenyada Davis.
The patient was finally taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol won't comment on the video while it's being reviewed by Okfuskee County prosecutors.
I don’t know about steroids, but if you forced police to take a lie detector test after giving sworn testimony, nine out of ten would fail. Too many police officers get into law enforcement for the power and control, lacking the character to resist corrupting influences. It’s a psychological steroid. ...I bet all of the cops in that little fracas are members of paramilitary squads. They were letting the paramedic know his place in the pecking order.
Shhhh, we are only supposed to be worried about athletes who abuse steroids, not people who are paid by taxpayers and who’s actions result in damages are also paid by taxpayers.
They abuse caffine as well (throwing no-doze in coffee).
And around here, they no longer eliminate a candidate for the force just because he has prior convictions for illegal drug use.
Please seek professional help. May the L-rd bless you and keep you. You seem to have some issues.

They routinely change their story on the stand (where there are stiffer penalties for lying under oath than on the original police report). That they are usually not charged for revising their statement when they are under oath (vs. the report) shows that a police report itself doesn’t hold much weight.

Well, that’s what we have come to in this country. If you love liberty and personal responsibility. If you hate a tyranny of your neighbors creation then you are considered by some to be mentally ill.
Where does liberty reside today, 2009? I am searching for her but I no longer find her here.
We recently had a fatal accident (civilian death, not responder) when two fire trucks collided at a cross street intersection responding to a false alarm (smoke testing of the sewer systems).
"You yield" "no YOU yield..."
It’s about revenue for the city/county (as well as lawyers, courts, clerks, insurance...) not erradication of the speeding “problem”.
They are turning off red-light cameras in some communities now because they aren’t bringing in the expected revenue streams (which would mean that people aren’t running enough lights).
In my city the former (RINO) DA opposed citizens carrying guns in their cars and yet the police all want a “ride along” because they are fearful on the streets.
When the police are scared of riding around even for “normal” traffic stops, makes you wonder how the citizens are supposed to feel about travelling around town.
Since when is wrapping your hands around someone’s neck a proper restraint technique? I don’t give a flip how beligerent this guy was or wasn’t off camera. Too many cops seem to be former jocks who never amounted to much and go around with a chip on their shoulders and macho complex, looking for the slightest sign of personal disrespect.
So where was the officer’s dashboard camera? Turned off as the camera was eventually turned off by the cops in Alabama who beat an unconscious man who’d been thrown from his own car when it flipped over?
The Police To Probation Bureaucracy.

I'll wait for the facts before I decide. Have a wonderful life. Please do not ping me. You seem to have already decided who is right and wrong.
I will no longer respond to you.
That’s just a union, featherbedding, double the union employees tactic.
Interesting observation/theory.
You frickin' cop apologist are something else. You totally ignore the fact the ambulance was on a hospital run, we don't know what "important" call the cops were on but it must not have been all that important because they took the time to stop this paramedic and jump his sh** about not yielding to them. From the story this appears to be an ego trip on the part of the leos and they lost it when the paramedic wouldn't kiss their a**.
You may be ok with leos losing it when someone mouths off, I am not. If they can't take the heat they should get out of the kitchen. Isn't that what a lot of FReepers say about other jobs? If they can't handle being mouthed off at they need to go into another line of work. Tell me, what difference is their in a cop saying, "Don't you know who I am?" and someone like Alec Baldwin saying it? No difference, none what so ever.
I saw a driver who was "in a hurry" who didn't want to yield to traffic exiting from a highway (while they themselves were getting on) who then threw his car into reverse on an entrance ramp to go after a driver who flipped the bird at him.
"Respect my authority!"
If they go after criminals with no money and serious charges, the city has to fund both their legal defense and their lock up (and the jails are already “full”).
But revenue tickets keep the gears turning.
I have not decided who is right or wrong. I have a principled argument against an aggresive and intrusive government. Our government is what we make of it. We are not slaves.
So I will not ping you again. I do not expect a response. I have an opinion. This is an opinion forum. That’s how it works. I state my opinion, you call me mentally ill.
My opinion is principled and has nothing to do with the individual cops in question. It has nothing to do with you personally. What I have to say is hard. It is counter to what many people including myself grew up believing. A lover of liberty does not want or need 2.77 armed government employees per capita.
Have a nice day with all your scripture quoting then throw the supposedly mentally ill guy under the bus. Typical.
I can't find anything about that guy having a gun, is this something that you just made up?
I did see this though.
The officer who delivered the kick, identified as George Fierro, returned to work the next day. Fierro, come to find out, owns a clothing company that caters to gang members and glorifies the Mexican Mafia.
His "brand" so sickens good cops that at least one tried to warn California gang investigators about a potential rogue in their midst.
"Has anyone seen or know about this gang clothing that a police officer is selling to gangsters," LAPD Detective David Espinoza wrote. "I understand the gangs really love this cop. I understand the clothing has hiding places for contraband, guns and dope. Things that can hurt our real cops on the street."
but again, i don't know. just a thought.
