Will you please add me to your ping list?
I have nothing to contribute, but I would love to lurk & learn from others.
Thank you.

"Everything in the fruit and nut tree category is atleast zone 4 tolerant for winter temps, but I am trying for zone 3 and 2 varieties since my previous zone 4 trees got wiped out a few years ago."
If you're having trouble finding some, St Lawrence Nursery carries a lot of super-cold-hardy fruit trees. Its at http://www.sln.potsdam.ny.us/

” The Acorn and Zucchini squash are the only squash my wife will eat. Matter of fact she saved some Acorn seeds from one she bought at the grocery store and gave them to me to plant. I told her I did not think they would produce. But what do I know?
Anybody know? “
They will grow, and most likely will produce. They may not be exactly like the parent plant, they could be better or they could be worse. You could even get a different quality squash from each seed. But, its fun! I’ve got a few citrus seedlings I’m growing from seeds I got out of store-bought fruit.

Thanks for the link to St Lawrence Nursery! Too late to order for this year, but I have it bookmarked.
