Essential elements of friendly information may seem harmless yet collectively they are the key to such losses of classified materials and media. They may think their little part of the pie is not important but a passing comment, talking around a subject in open and not aware of the reverse engineering skills of those that gain such pieces is where the primary threat to America is.
COIN aka Counter Intelligence training of employees etc trusted with such data is key..... academics are to worst offenders in my experience. Phd’s & polidiots pile it higher and deeper and don’t protect it in 90% of the cases. Security is someone else’s problem in their opinion.
