Dear friends, family, loved ones, conservatives, Republicans, libertarians, my brother in law, Sam, and my cousin Joe: I am sorry and you were right.
These are not easy words for anyone to utter, much less a leftist from Berkeley, or a recovering leftist, that is. Even though I've been in recovery for 14 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days, leftists are always right in your face, in an I-hate-you-if-you-disagree sort of way. Hence, this letter of amends to all the people I've lectured, scolded, ranted and raved at, and otherwise annoyed during my 30 plus years of "progressive" politics.

BTW, I wonder if Robin will acknowledge that Hillary is part of the same Thug-aucracy that victimized her?
good one! Thanks.
Good article, though too sensible to be persuasive to any liberals.
Really? :::whimper::: people were mean to me, so I changed my whole world view!
Does this person have ANY substance at all?
While such conversions are encouraging to read, I still don’t believe that we will see a mass exodus from the democrats.
For one thing, the republican party doesn’t stand for anything anymore...so when you leave the democrats and find that the republican party is trying to figure out how to be a lite-version of the democrats, its difficult to get excited about your conversion.
Now, now....the container's been filling with substance for 14 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days
It's not that people were mean to her. It's that she noticed that the Liberals themselves were mean. She finally saw them for the soul-sucking totalitarians they are.
Really. She noticed her liberal friends were frothing at the mouth hypocrites. I have no problem with her about-face at all.
If she really wants to make progress she needs to now join the NRA.
Exactly. It’s not “people are mean to me.” It’s “there is great hypocrisy going on here. Democrats don’t stand for what I thought they did.”
That was a refreshing read. It reminds me somewhat of my own journey “home” to conservatism.
Bill Clinton helped me to see the razor wire of the liberal mind control plantation. He forced me to see the light, much as the Obamination has helped Robin to emerge from the darkness.
