Apple releases Security Update 2009-002 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger users
Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - 06:09 PM EDT

Apple today released Security Update 2009-002 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger users which is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X. Previous security updates have been incorporated into this security update.

Security Update 2009-002 is available via Software Update and also via standalone installers.

Thanks for the pings. I keep a 10.4 machine; compatibility with system 9 is not in 10.5 as you know.

. . . and Leopard wasn't recommended for my 800 mHz G4, either - so I gave it to my daughter and bought this 20" Core2 duo.

Probably around the 2nd anniversary of the intro of the first iPhone. AS to what? Rumor says that the new one will have a built in magnetometer...

There are all sorts of rumors that it will finally incorporate video capability as well. That and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
