Doctors said one man was bitten on the hand after trying to pet a snake.
They said the man had been drinking prior to the incident. ----
Ya think?

I walked by one in that size range once. It was a cool, but sunny day and he was all stretched out catching rays. Slinked right around him and he didn’t even budge, he was probably asleep.

Rattlesnakes don’t get that big. 7 feet tops. That’s gotta be Photoshopped.

Also, do not try to capture the snake and bring it to the hospital. Identification of the snake is not necessary for treatment
On the other hand, literally, my little brother in Brazil, a Downs child, was hiking out by a reservoir on the outskirts of Sao Paulo when some snake over a meter in length bit him. It made him so mad he beat the snake to death and carried it back home. He was rushed to the hospital at Butantan Institute. They said that if he hadn't killed the snake and carried it home with him for them to identify, he probably would have died. Ever after he has loved snakes and has collected many snake photos, models, and toys.
