I am beginning to believe that the fly-over of NY City yesterday was probably to impress a few special people on board. Could it have been Michelle taking herself and friends on a midday jaunt? I bet if the passenger list is made public this story will get very interesting. Sorry for the vanity.

My addled brain sort of remembers a post from last week, someone saw a plane flying up the Hudson and posted - asking if it was AF1 - is that right? Anyone else remember it?

Nah, you don’t do “military” over one of the most densely populated (and justifiably paranoid) areas in the world with what is basically a civilian aircraft.
The probability is quite strong that it was some sort of politically venal and moronic act on the part of the White House and their minions.
Hint to the clueless. All the particulars on this are already known. Politicians do not call for “investigations” or “studies” as a method of finding facts. It is done to delay discovery re. an embarrassing political screwup. Anytime this ploy is used on the part of the politicos, it is a tip off that they are trying to get the public eye off of the ball. The sad thing is, that the American public is generally not bright enough to figure it out.
Just a thought.
Imagine if W had ordered up a column of Abrams tanks moving downtown through Waco heading East for a ‘photo op’.
