Why can't I get a job ?????
The most frequent question from most is about salary and hours. This "group"'s first question is always "are the tattoos/piercings a problem?".
Maybe it's the look my my face.
I’d suggest a position as an MRI Technician.
Ouch.
Did they try Barnum and Bailey?
YOU see this coming in for a job?
What do YOU say to them?
Why don't they just become drug dealers?
Or join a freak show? There they could be employed indefinitely. Ideally they should be locked up. This is nor normal to mutilate yourself like this. If they do that to themselves, imagine what they will do for YOU?
Guess we'll need a law saying you have to view this as normal too and not to “discriminate”?
I wish I hadn’t seen that so close to bedtime
ROFLMAO !!!
I'll send them that way for sure !!!
I recently was on assignment at a financial services company. A person in my department is covered with tattoos on his neck and arms. I’m amazed they hired him.
I think they should be used to check and see if power lines are ‘hot’
That’s the stuff nightmares are made of.
I’m reminded of those Hellraiser movies. I think the guy in the movies was less creepy though.
What’s funny is most of these folks are probably happily employed in a profession they love. I know several folks like this and they all own their own businesses and are sucessful. Sometimes uniqueness works.
Hey,
I tried to be civil...............
The people I posted chose to look that way.
You just crossed the line !
LOL
The “Shining” tattoo on her arm won me over. Would take her out for a couple red lobster meals for sure.
Beats me, though I’d suggest not working around magnets or any type of job that involves electron flow.
I’ve heard some talk of people being discriminated against due to appearance in jobs. This could be the next big “civil rights” cause. You can see why employers would reject people for jobs in customer service or anything dealing with the public. Such extreme appearance is a reflection on a business.
I can imagine the legal arguments now. They will say that everyone has a right to self expression, and that such extreme appearance has no bearing on how well somebody can do a job, thus should not be a factor in hiring. Thus, if you do consider their personal appearance, you are discriminating.
Don’t laugh too much. I expect to see this become something the ACLU will take up at some point. Let them first shove same-sex marriage and expose all of our state secrets, such as this inane torture memo/photo lawsuit, and then they will move on to the tattoos and piercings lawsuits.
The IT guy in one of our buildings has a mohawk and tats all over. The story goes was that he wasn’t like that when first hired. Plus management knows he’s a whiz when it comes to networking and cable connections that they also know if they fired him...well, IT guys are the worst people to fire.
