Seth Sigmon, 29, lived on the dead-end side of Connie Court in Shady Hills. Neighbors say he has a son and that his wife was getting out of the shower when he was slain.

Authorities say his next-door neighbor, 81-year-old John Croft, shot Sigmon multiple times with a .22 revolver.

...

Croft is a registered Republican. Sigmon is a Democrat.

I am sure it is the policy of the St. Petersburg Times to identify whether any gang-bangers arrested voted for Obama or McCain.

True, it’s the Times, so you can’t expect much...but the title of the article is not what you posted, it’s:

No relevance to the story whatsoever, except it paints the shooter as an evil Rethuglican. No bias there...no sir, not one bit.

Is there some relevance of party affiliation to the story? Or did they just throw that in there? Weird.

Sounds like we need Hate-Crimes legislation to stop the national epidemic of Republican-on-Democrat crime.

Flying an American flag..without it being on fire?!?

I think that’s one of the warning signs in the DHS Right Wing Extremism memo.

Why is it that media outlets don’t mention the race of a suspect, even when the suspect is still at large and knowing their race might help in identifying and capturing the perp, but a person’s political registration is noted especially when a firearm is involved. Why can’t these brilliant reporters identify the party registration of so called “independant undecided voters” that ask loaded questions at debates? The bias here is so painfully sickening. No wonder nobody reads the paper anymore.

Isn’t this the rag that O’Reilly called totally corrupt and left? If so then consider the source.
