Oh man. He has a very rough fight facing him. That disorder is bad news and he'll likely be on a respirator for a while. Being “The Refrigerator” he'll have to get rid of some weight to ever possibly walk again. Guillain-Barre Syndrome has a couple of cousin disorders like Polio and Transverse Myelitis. All the above work on damaging or destroying the Myelin nerve sheaths.
