Since '98 was the year Jim had to impose registraton ( because of the eschoir wars), I wonder how many of us were toiling in the fields of lib-whacking before registration?

Like Gen. Douglas MacArthur, old FReepers never die, they just fade away. Well, we haven’t quite faded away yet, but I have been busy with a new business and haven’t been here much. I keep waiting for the knock on the door and the goons to drag me away to re-education camp. I would prefer a place with moderate weather and nice vegetarian entrees.

Before 6/3/98, but Jim had a database crash back in the olden days, and some us had to re-sign up. That’s my “re-up” date.

I joined July 14 2001 and have 162 threads and 11,012 replies. I guess 11,013 now. One of my threads was pulled because of content and I assume a few over the years because of duplication. One time I made what I thought was a joke on a thread that I regret but that’s about me for transgressions. In retrospect I have probably spent way too much time at this site but it’s too good to easily click off.
