Scientists have found that the pleasure women get from making love is directly linked to the size of their partner’s bank balance. They found that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms. “Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” said Dr Thomas Pollet, the Newcastle University psychologist behind the research. He believes the phenomenon is an “evolutionary adaptation” that is hard-wired into women, driving them to select men on the basis of their perceived quality.

welll...it certainly is a financial topic.
I think it's just common sense that arousal is a byproduct of attraction. The more attractive you find a person, the more aroused you'll become and hence....well...you see where it goes. I don't find the premise faulty at all.

Actually, my first thought when I saw this article was Dave’s reference to the woman’s “security gland”.
CDBear and I have talked about this many times. We guys can shut out anything else when it comes to getting our jollies. But women just don’t work that way. If they are worried about dog hair on their coat or that the stock market did something they didn’t like or we made them mad 2 weeks ago or whatever — but especially when there are money worries — it just ain’t gonna happen.
While the corollary that rich men make women moan more may not be proven, it is absolutely true that women worried about their financial security are not going to be fun to live with — in or out of the sack.
First congrats on your long marriage, ND, that’s amazing, and your wife is lucky. You are one of the few men who have a clue into what makes us tick.
That said:
This is my take on it.....if a man, with his woman’s help, knows what she likes, she will be satisfied, in that way.
As for REALLY satisfying a man, that’s a whole different ballgame, so to speak. A woman has to get into his mind, and be skilled in the artform as well.
At the end of the day, believe it or not, men are MUCH more difficult to completely satisfy than women.
I believe it is because the woman likes the rich man.
Hell, for a million buck or so, who could not fake it?

I think that is just jealosy from people who can’t afford Porsches (or whatever expensive car that is the subject of the joke that day).
I read the Car & Driver recently (tried to find the link to no avail) that had a study that measured the frequency of sex by drivers of cars. No. 1 was BMW, No.2 was Porsche, No. 3 was some youth-market Jap car, I think Scion or somesuch.
Rounding the bottom were Buicks and Saturns.

Jealousy? No. In my case, a fit of pique after the guy pulled out so close in front of the leading car that even the second car (mine) was forced to brake; then he convoyed us several miles at precisely the speed limit.
‘Twas a man as I described with a younger woman whose hair blew in the wind, in a convertible Cobra or something similar. I hope the passenger didn’t stain the seat when she was nearly T-boned, but the beauty of the car was spoiled by the discourtesy of the knucklehead behind the wheel.
