I’d heard a NY Post columnist dubbed the new park “The House That Mute Built”. A lot quieter because the REAL fans are in the bleachers far from home plate and far from TV/radio mics...meanwhile mega expensive seats behind home plate go unsold; supposedly the Fri game had 7,000 empty seats.

A bit of history: Yankees suffer their worst loss ever: 22-0 Debacle against Indians reduces N.Y. lead over Boston to 3 1/2 games Sept . 1, 2004 NEW YORK - The hits and runs kept coming, spinning by on the scoreboard as fast as symbols on a slot machine. It wasnt just a rout, it was an epic defeat, the most one-sided in the 101-year history of the New York Yankees. Clevelands 22-0 victory Tuesday night matched the biggest post-1900 shutout margin in the major leagues, Pittsburghs win at the Chicago Cubs on Sept. 16, 1975. Theres a certain element of embarrassment, no question, Yankees manager Joe Torre said. Its hard to handle. Its something you have to bounce back from.

The “New” Yankee Stadium looks like a bandbox. Homer after homer after homer. Bush league at best.

I wish that I could care more.
Being from Boston makes me a natural born Yankee hater but still, it is so EZ to despise what the Red Sox have become over the last 25 years plus.
Can both teams please lose forever?

Today/tonite, Yanks lose 16-11 to Sox despite once having a 6-0 lead. The past 2 Saturdays, NYY has given up a total of
38 runs.
